The Westby Guest house provides a quiet, relaxed, clean and spacious base for guests who value a good nights sleep, green ethics and thoughtful great service! We are highly rated and steadily improving on TripAdvisor Top 20/130 hotels and Booking.com 9.4/10 All our comfortable private Ensuite bedrooms are modern and bright with free WIFI. Oven cooked breakfasts are served in an airy dining room - we cater for vegan and gluten free dietary requirements, using good quality responsibly sourced food ingredients. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, energy is supplied by Ecotricity and we promote all waste recycling. The fantastic sandy 7 mile beach is just a 5 minute stroll away from us, where you will find Boscombe Pier - with SUP, surfing, volleyball and several bars and restaurants right on the seafront. The promenade connects the whole bay to busier Bournemouth town and beyond, perfect for a stroll or cycle. Close to us are many independent eclectic shops, bars and cafes, we have the Shelley Theatre and O2 Bournemouth venues. A short distance away lies the start of 95 miles of Jurassic Coast - the UK's only natural UNESCO World Heritage site - Durdle Door/Lulworth Cove/Harrys Rocks/Corfe Castle, then we have the stunning New Forest National Park here too. We are happy to take larger groups of up to 12 adults and 2 babies, with sole use of the guest house, with or without breakfast - perfect as a base for celebrating together with several families or friends - just ask. COVID 19 response - NHS Staff Discount 20%; minimum 24hrs gap between bookings for each bedroom, plus maximum occupancy of 80%; alcoholic hand gel in hallway; sanitiser hand wash and extra recycled toilet paper in bedrooms; staggered breakfasts in the dining room with cutlery and crockery also available for takeaways/deliveries at your own dedicated table; regular cleaning of public spaces; optional - self checkin/checkout or even breakfast in bed!

I have stayed at the Westby several times in the last 18 months while I visit an elderly relative in a nearby care home. I'm always made welcome, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is lovely and the Westby is well situated for the town centre shops, beaches and public transport.

Yet again another great stay.

The incredible hospitality began before we’d even arrived with Duncan letting us know there was a parking space available for us out front. On arrival, Duncan was informative and friendly advising us of all we needed to know about our stay and taking our breakfast order. The location was superb. Our room was spacious and clean, the LUSH products a real plus! We had a great night’s sleep in the comfy bed. Breakfast the next morning was hot and delicious. Thank you for a 5* stay, we will return!
